Music Tech

Children in Y5 and Y6 have started exploring sound palettes using garageband.

Y6 are exploring EDM and will be using Live Loops to compose a piece with a structure. They are off to meet Rkdia this week and hear them perform at the Turner Sims. Rkdia will be using music tech within their performance and showing us how to go about using it with our own music. 

Y5 listened to Mars by Holst and will explore how different composers have described space in their music. Using Tracks they explored the sounds possible on garageband and what sounds might be useful and how they could be used.
