Y5 and Y6 have had an exciting start to the year exploring garageband on ipads. 

Y5 are being inspired by space (like a lot of composers!) and this week magpied ideas from Ligeti & Rihm.  Have a listen to our first improvisations!

Y6 have focused on Daft Punk and the EDM genre. They identified features in the music and have composed introductions for their own piece.  Over the next few weeks they will identify how other artists structure their music and continue composing their own pieces.
