Our amazing orchestra!

Today all our instrumentalists in Y5 and Y6 (all 68!!) met together to play as an ensemble for the first time. There were some nerves and anticipation but lots of smiles and a LOT of musical playing together. We started work on a Half-Minute waltz, playing with 3 in a bar being the additional challenge to listening to each other and reading the notation with their friends. 

We warmed up with 3 in a bar - have a listen to this and our first ever version of the whole piece. Amazing in just one rehearsal! Thank you so much to our amazing instrumental teachers who helped us and to Mr Hanchett who led our learning.
