RKDIA @ Turner Sims

Year Six had the most amazing afternoon enjoying a live performance by RKDIA at the Turner Sims Concert Hall in Southampton. For many pupils, this was their first live music enrichment outside of school as Covid prevented so many of our plans. Some children were nervous, most were excited and then we saw the concert hall. The lights set the mood ready for the performance. We were excited by the instrumental set up and keen to see how music tech was used to change and enhance the performance ready to magpie good ideas in our own compositions.

RKDIA were amazing, we were all buzzing when we left. Watching the musicians improvise and use their instruments in different ways was incredible and we can't wait to listen to more of their music. 

It was a moment in time that we won't forget!
