Singing for the Platinum Jubilee

Today in school Nia Collins from Southampton Music Hub joined us in our singing assemblies. She taught us all a brand new song, written by a local composer, to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. In Southampton there will be 'The Big Platinum Festival' on Sunday 5th June at Mayflower Park as part of the city celebrations.

Southampton Music Hub would love for any children in Key Stage 2 (Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y6), who would like, to join together and make a city choir. This choir will then sing 'It's the Platinum Jubilee' on Unity 101's stage as part of the opening ceremony at the event.

This is a fantastic opportunity and we would love to have some children from Kanes Hill singing on the stage! The event is free to take part in. If your child would like to sing in this event you will need to attend a rehearsal on Wednesday 25th May at Richard Taunton's Sixth Form College 4.30pm - 5.30pm.
