Time for change: rap workshop

Helen visited us today to share the Southampton Schools RAP challenge. We learnt that RAP stands for Rhythm and Poetry and has 3 main parts: Rhythm, Rhyme and Meaning.  We explored these three during our session and loved listening to 23 Skidoo 'Gotta be me'   Y6 have some potential rap artists of the future - watch this space!

Children across Southampton Schools have been asked to write their own lyrics about Time for change: actions not words. Come back soon and see what we write to share in January with the other schools!
