Y5 Calypso Christmas

Today Y5 shared their Calypso Christmas performance with families. They have explored the history of the Bamboo Tamboo and played 3 layered polyrhythms - have a listen!

As well as improvising in a gap, trying to create syncopated patterns, composing 4 beat loops with friends and adding rhythms to reggae pieces whilst singing. (We performed I can see clearly to our parents!)

We finished our performance showing how important we all our by playing boomwhacker pieces as a class and singing christmas songs for our families to enjoy!
